The Kerry Panto at The Racecourse presents "CINDERELLA"
This Christmas, follow a sprinkle of fairy dust to Killarney Racecourse, where the world’s favourite fairytale gets a magical Kerry makeover! We have a wonderfully festive family pantomime in store, directed by Lily MacMonagle of The MACademy Performing Arts and choreographed by Katrina Galvin of Sparrow Dance Academy, featuring plenty of local talent.
Deep within Ross Castle, Cinderella dreams of a life beyond endless chores and the demands of her wicked stepmother, Malaria. With outrageous stepsisters Lottie and Dottie causing chaos, even the kindest girl in Killarney could use a little help.
Luckily, her loyal best friend Tickles is never far away – usually with a terrible joke, a cheeky grin and absolutely no idea what trouble he’s about to get himself into!
When Prince Harold announces a royal ball at Muckross House, Cinderella dares to dream that her moment has finally arrived. But Malaria has other plans, and getting to the ball will take more than a beautiful dress.
Enter Molls: a fairy godmother from beyond the Gap of Dunloe, with a wand, a mission and plenty of Kerry attitude!
As Killarney’s fairy lights flicker out, can Molls help Cinderella find the courage to follow her heart? Will Tickles save the day? And can anyone stop the stepsisters from making a holy show of themselves at the royal ball?
Expect sparkling transformations, soaring songs, dazzling dance numbers and laughter for every generation, with plenty of chances to cheer your heroes, boo the baddies and shout, “She’s behind you!”
From the enchanted woods of Killarney National Park to a ballroom fit for a princess, this heartwarming adventure celebrates friendship, kindness and the magic of believing in yourself.
Gather the children, bring the grandparents and make a little room for wonder. Whether it’s your first panto or a cherished family tradition, come ready to laugh, sing and believe in the magic of Christmas and the magic of Killarney…
Your invitation awaits-book your tickets and let Cinderella bring the sparkle to your Christmas!
